Druid use cases

The team behind Druid open sourced the project in 2012. Druid graduated to a top-level Apache Project in 2019. It's been a massive hit among teams who want to reduce latency of event data being delivered to their users, and to support more flexible, ad-hoc querying by their users.

The official Druid website contains an overview of how this real-time analytics database supports multiple use cases including user activity, network flows, digital marketing, and application performance management.

See the Imply website for even more uses for Druid.
